The architectural concept develops the founding idea of a structure in continuity and connection with the wild Iceland’s bay landscape. Playing with the hills, two earth-tongues lift up from ground level and configure the two main spaces: the Guest House with public facilities and the Hotel. A natural amphitheater falls down among them towards the sea to the north. Mobile homes inspired by Icelandic rural patterns are rented there by the visitors for a fully naturalistic experience.

Green roofs and slow mobility, INLO is a human scaled project. Cars stay far away, parkings are close to the street, and visitor can reach public facilities and private accomodation on foot walking through nature.
