One of CLOU’s long-established collaborations with Longfor, Paradise Walk Jinchen is a four-story destination mall situated along busy Beixing Avenue in Chengdu’s emerging Northernresidential districts.
此项目构成了一个独特的建筑实验：由CLOU与龙湖共同拟定出了一系列适用于商场普适性、模数化的空间，不仅作为这座社区购物中心的基础，也可作为未来商业模式的原型，其开放式的框架同等地支持通用或专属的空间功能组合。
This project constitutes a unique case study: Together with the developer, a series of standardized mall modules were formulated to serve not only as of the base for the community mall but as a prototype for future joint retail endeavors, in an open framework that equally supports generic and specialized components.
L 形平面轮廓将此商场界定为一个绵长、双向的体块，其中有三个外露的角落转变为此项目的突出特征：在这些角落，高效简约的流线型体量切分为多个铰接式立方体的集合。
The L-shaped footprint of the mall determines an elongated, bidirectional massing with three exposed corners that are turned into the project’s standout features: it is here where the efficiently streamlined volumes syncopate in articulated cubic concentration.
与李白著名的《荆门浮舟望蜀江》诗句对应，诗中的月峡、渚宫城和芳洲三个主要景观转化为以下关键点：沿西南方向，金色丝带状和斜向立面的折叠象征着“月峡”，在主题上与屋顶体量中闪亮的影院功能想呼应。
Along with the narrative of Li Bai’s famous “Floating on a Boat at Jingmen, Gazing at the Yangzi” poem, three key scenic spots – the Moon Gorge, the Crystal Palace, and the Blossom Island – inform these key access points: towards the southwest, golden ribbons and diagonal façade folds symbolize the Moon Gorge, thematically synced with the cinema programming of the shiny rooftop volume.
在东北端，上层退台，裸露出灰色岩石上方的“芳洲”绿色屋顶，屋顶作为一个公共游乐场露台，该入口紧邻儿童游乐区、健身房及游泳池等运动活力设施。
On the northeastern end, the upper buildings step back to reveal the green roof of Blossom Island above the grey stone, a public playground terrace adjacent to children’s, gym, and pool facilities.
双翼在转角汇集相聚，呈现出现代“渚宫城”（水晶宫）的动感容貌，外镀金属的悬挑与玻璃外立面以及背光 LED 立方体形成起伏的韵律，由远至近地演绎建筑的整体形象。
The prominent convergence of the two frontages is expressed in the animated composition of a contemporary Crystal Palace with its cantilevering glazed, backlit, and LED screen cubes that communicate the building’s presence into the distance.
各个入口皆以变化的体量为特征，主入口回退至巨大的商场体量内，特色灯光照明突显出悬挑的边缘。
All-access points feature shifting volumetrics, with the actual entrance points receding deep into the mall volume under generous overhangs accentuated by feature lighting.
商场各楼层的布局是基于极其高效且合理的模块组件设定，为外立面丰富可变的外观调制留出限定的空间。服务于租赁店面的后侧走廊，沿着外立面延展，从室内到室外的序列分布形成外凸、内凹及对角线分割的变化，令建筑外观从平齐的静态变得更富动感。
Mall layouts through all levels are based on extremely efficient and rational modularity that leaves limited room for expressive façade modulation. Back-of-house corridors servicing the individual shops have been placed along the external facades in indoor and outdoor sequences, allowing for protrusions, recesses, and diagonal cuts that animate the otherwise flush conditions.
外观的设计构思源自在山间云海之上愉悦、悠然的行路体验。以连续性的模块抽象表达坚固的岩层、裂缝和洞穴：
The exterior appearance is conceived as sequential parts of an enjoyable mountain walk above a sea of clouds, where solid rock formations give way to crevices and caves.
状似漂浮在透明玻璃底层之上的灰色花岗岩体块，平滑地与半透明玻璃和暖色调的金色铝板并列，如同被天然石材所包裹的云母一般，凸显柔和的材料对比，也更添微妙而珍稀的光泽。虚实交替，将长长的外立面分解为更易于理解的比例节奏，从而激发从相邻公共景观远眺建筑的视觉感知。
Seemingly floating above a fully glazed ground floor, blocks of grey granite smoothly juxtapose with translucent glass and warm golden aluminum panels that, like mica enclosed in natural stone, add soft material contrast and subtly precious glow. Alternating mass and transparency, the long facades are broken up in a more comprehensibly scaled rhythm that enlivens perception from the adjacent public landscape spaces.
山脉主题的曲折流线让这座综合体拥有优雅连贯的体量规划，呈现出外表皮的精微细节和过渡，以及与技术设备的集成。
Along with the linear meanders of the mountain theme, the complex’s elegant volumetric continuity stipulated meticulous detailing in surface subdivision and transition as well as in technical equipment integration.
内部与外部空间的衔接保持一致，三个宽阔的内部中庭通过嵌有横桥的细长空腔相连。前侧和后侧的内部空间划分依照既定的模块网格进行分布，预设的框架包含了核心位置、垂直和水平流线以及轴向排列。
In line with the exterior spatial articulation, three large interior atria interconnect through elongated and cross-bridged voids. Front-of-house and back-of-house interior divisions follow the established modular grid, with cores, vertical and horizontal circulation, as well as axial alignment, within the predetermined framework.
在此意义上，成都锦宸天街建构出一种完美协调的综合设计：在理性且兼具普适性的设计基础上，适度加入符合本土地域及当地民众特定故事性的情境，由此塑造别具一格的定位。
In this sense, Paradise Walk Jinchen Chengdu has developed into a well-balanced combination of rationally driven, generic design base working in concert with a selective, specifically local and civic narrative that creates distinctive identity.
