Located on the corner of Albert and Wyndham Streets in Auckland Central, this proposed development accommodates two hotel brands in one: the well-established Holiday Inn Express, paired with New Zealand’s first EVEN Hotel. SJB was engaged to interpret the wellness and lifestyle brand for the Australasian market. A 4-storey glazed podium includes defined entries for both hotels, guest services, a state-of-the-art gym and associated retail. A 40-storey stepped tower above will accommodate 294 HIEX rooms in the lower portion and 200 Even Hotel rooms in the upper portion. Standing approximately 135m tall, this hotel development will be one of the tallest structures in New Zealand and enjoy expansive views across Waitemata Harbour and Mount Eden.
