Lightness, simplicity and openness will be the three main concepts which will express the new Kum&Go Headquarter in Downtown Des Moines. The building will “fly” over the site surrounded by a dense public green park, and will connect Grand Street with Ingersoll Avenue, visually and physically. This new green space will be a kind of continuation of the sculpture park just in front of it. The four vast planes flying over the site will emphasize the lightness and the transparency of the building and will dialogue with the sculpture park nearby.
