These posters were displayed when SHISEIDO fully revamped its makeup line. The concept for the new products is “Modern Japan,” and the product design incorporates a traditional Japanese color scheme with black and red. We composed the visuals using only these colors, which are also the elements of the brand identity, for a minimal and bold expression of “Japaneseness” to differentiate the brand from its western competitors.
