Tequila Luna Nueva was first released in the US market in 2011. The brand has since evolved to stay competitive in the rapidly growing premium tequila market while maintaining the same commitment to superior quality and taste. Fast forward to 2019, Luna Nueva started its branding and positioning process, with a now projected timeline to re-launch in June 2020.
This blend of high-quality blue weber agave combines the astes of both the sweet highlands and earthy lowlands of Jalisco, Mexico. The blue weber agave is hand-selected, carefully fermented, baked in stone ovens, and double-distilled in traditional copper pots. It is distilled in the highest distillery in North America, sitting at 7,200 feet above sea level. The process is directly supervised by third-generation Master Distiller Don Wilfrido Ortega.
To support the relaunch, Luna Nueva is unveiling new packaging for its Luna Nueva Reposado, Luna Nueva Silver, and Luna Nueva Añejo tequilas. The new packaging tells the brand’s story in a new, stylish way.
TEQUILA REPOSADO is an amber-hued, limited edition tequila with a satiny medium weight body, and an alluring bouquet of vanilla, red currants, apricots, butterscotch and toffee . Its complex palate presents the flavors of zesty orange, toasted oak, tobacco, chocolate and cloves. The finish is long and smooth with a slight spice.
TEQUILA AÑEJO is an altogether marvelous spirit with a dark amber hue, a velvety smooth body and an engaging bouquet of cinnamon, spices, vanilla and fresh citrus.
The palate is loaded with spice, butterscotch, cocoa, vanilla and light peppery notes. Thankfully, the finish lingers on the palate for an agreeably long time.
A museum-grade añejo.
SILVER TEQUILA is a fresh and exuberant spirit with ideal clarify, a silky lightweight body and a wafting bouquet redolent with the aromas of tropical fruit, spearmint, white pepper, lemon grass and fresh herbs. The palate presents a lively yet balanced offering of herbaceous agave, clove, chocolate and lime peel. The finish is crisp and refreshing.
