历史渊源/前期调研

羊城 /GUANGZHOU

很多城市都有别名，它代表了一个城市其独特的气质，而广州的“羊城”之名已经有2000多年的历史。
相传有五位仙人，身穿五彩衣，骑着五色羊，拿着一茎六穗的优良稻谷种子，降临 “楚庭”，将稻穗赠给当地人民，并祝福这里永无饥荒。说完后，五位仙人便腾空而去, 五只羊则变成了石头。当地人民为纪念五位仙人，修建了一座五仙观，传说五仙观即为”楚庭”所在。由此，广州有“羊城”的别名。

Many cities have nicknames, which represent the unique temperament of a city, and the name of “Yangcheng” in Guangzhou has a history of more than 2000 years.

It is said that five immortals, dressed in colorful clothes and wearing five colored sheep, came to “chuting” with a stem and six ears of fine rice seeds, gave the ears of rice to the local people, and wished there would never be famine here. After that, the five immortals flew away, and the five sheep became stones. The local people built a five immortals temple in memory of the five immortals. It is said that the five immortals temple is where the “Chu court” is located. Therefore, Guangzhou has the nickname of “Yangcheng”.
