衢州礼贤桥位于信安湖衢江大桥至西安门大桥段, 桥梁主线全580m,桥梁标准宽10m,为连接衢州新老城区的人行及非机动车通道。

Quzhou Lixian bridge is a section of Qujiang Bridge to Xi’an Gate Bridge, whose full length is 580m with 10m width, and it functions as the pedestrian and non-motorized connection between the old and new city.

As an important link connecting the old city and the new area of the West District in Quzhou, Lixian landscape bridge should be a landmark of the region and a infrastructure enriching citizens’ life. The combination of function and form is the entire design principle. And the design purpose is to provide the public a journey blending with the natural waterfront.

项目挑战:完善城市慢行交通规划,解决衢州市西区与历史老城区慢行系统不完整的问题;缓解西安门大桥和衢江大桥的交通压力;确保桥下河道净宽及净高,满足IV级航道的通航标准;展现衢州山水特色,打造旅游经济魅力交通圈。

Project challenge: Improve urban slow traffic, solve the problem of incomplete slow traffic system between the west district of Quzhou city and the historical old urban area.. Relieve traffic pressure on Xi’anmen Bridge and Qujiang Bridge. Ensure the width and height of the river under the bridge to meet the navigation standards of class IV waterway. Show the characteristics of Quzhou’s landscape and create a charming transportation circle of tourism economy.

目标一:构筑“以人为本”的慢行交通系统。通过步行、自行车与公交系统的紧密结合,达到引导“步行+公交”“自行车+公交”出行的目的,建设低碳城市,达到低碳经济发展要求。

First objective: Build a “people-first” slow traffic system. In order to build “walking + public transportation” and “bicycle + public transportation” system, we integrate walking, bicycle into public transportation system. It not only contributes to low-carbon cities but also meets the requirement of low-carbon economic development.

目标二:减少人车冲突,确保城市交通系统整体运行效率。项目的建成能在交通高峰流量时分流非机动车和行人,有利于提高西安门大桥和衢江大桥的通行能力,扩大城市基础设施规模,完善路网体系,适应区域交通需求,促进路网功能合理布局。

Second objective: Reduce vehicles and people conflict, ensure the overall urban transport system efficiency. The design can divert non motor vehicles and pedestrians during peak traffic flow, which is conducive to improving the traffic capacity of Xi’an Gate Bridge and Qujiang bridge, expanding the scale of urban infrastructure, improving the road network system, adapting to regional traffic demand and promoting the layout of road network functions.

目标三:本项目的建设可以提升信安湖旅游品质,改善人居环境,拉长信安湖旅游产业链,优化旅游产业结构,提升城市品位。

Third objective: The construction of this project is significant to enhance the tourism quality of Xin’an Lake, improve living environment, lengthen the tourism industry chain of Xin’an lake, optimize the structure of the tourism industry and improve the urban quality.

本桥着力于解决两大功能:交通功能与景观休闲。交通功能包括人行和自行车、电动车通行;人行和非机动车考虑分道通行。本桥因以上特点分为两部分,平坦的非机动车桥及曲线的行人拱桥。两个桥面在空间节奏上高低错落,收放有致,塑造优美的城市景观。

The bridge focuses on two major functions: traffic function and landscape leisure. Traffic function includes pedestrian, bicycle and electric vehicle. Pedestrian and non-motor vehicles shall be separated. Due to the above characteristics, the bridge is divided into two parts – a flat non-motor vehicle bridge and a curved pedestrian arch bridge. The two bridge decks are scattered in the spatial rhythm, and they created a beautiful urban landscape.

在设计形式上,通过舒缓平稳的直线及灵动轻巧的曲线,在提供观景旅程的同时,自身也成为城市的景观。桥型代表着新城与旧城的连接,将一条代表拱桥的曲线叠加在直线上,直与曲之间的交集同时为行人预留了空间。在形式上提取中国拱桥的文化元素,并运用现代工程科学技术的解决手段,做到形式与功能的完美结合,并与衢州城墙、大南门等古迹遥相呼应,表达对历史文化的尊重与传承。

In terms of design form, through the soothing and straight line with flexible and lightweight curve, it not only provides the viewing journey, but also becomes the landscape of the city. The shape of bridge represents a connection of the new city with the old city. The mixture of straight and curve line also creates the relaxing space. Xin’an lake bridge extracts Chinese arch bridge cultural element in the form and use the modern engineering science and technology, to achieve the perfect combination of form and function. It also expresses respect and inheritance of history and culture, which echoes the historical sites such as the Quzhou City Wall and the Great South Gate.

策略一:扩充城市基础设施,完善路网系统。礼贤桥是连接西区跟老城区两座桥梁之一,处于城市主干道上。与现有城市干道网相结合,营造良好的城市步行和自行车交通环境;独立设置的慢行专用路与滨河游览路和城市干路共同构成新区的慢行交通网络。

The first strategy: Expand urban infrastructure and improve the road network system. Lixian landscape bridge is one of the two bridges connecting the west district and the old urban area, which is located on the urban trunk road. It combines with the existing urban trunk road network to create a good urban pedestrian and bicycle traffic environment; The independent dedicated slow traffic road, Riverside sightseeing road and urban trunk road together constitute the Non-motorized traffic system of the new area.

策略二:人车分流,竖向研究。在深化方案及地形竖向连接过程中,人行和自行车、电动车分流以保证交通安全性及交通高峰期的通行流畅。礼贤桥南侧为自行车与电动自行车通行道,北侧为人行通行道。经过严家淤区域设置出口以便行人前往严家淤森林公园游览。东西两侧桥位充分考虑自行车流、人流集散的方便、快捷和舒适性,并且留有足够的集散空间;东端桥位通过小广场形式与衢江中路衔接,人行部分可以跨越衢江路接入江滨公园,西端桥位尽可能靠近岸边,并考虑布置缓冲过渡小广场。

The second strategy: Diversion of people and vehicles, pay attention to vertical design. In the process of deepening the scheme, vertical connection of terrain, pedestrians, bicycles and electric vehicles are separated to ensure traffic safety and smooth traffic during traffic peak hours. The landscape bridge on the south side of Lixian landscape bridge is bicycle and electric bicycle access road and pedestrian access road on the north side. An exit is set through Yanjiayu area for pedestrians to visit Yanjiayu forest park. East and west bridge sides fully consider the convenience, efficiency and comfort of bicycle flow and pedestrian flow, and there is enough space for converge and dispersion. Eastern end of the bridge site connects to Qujiang middle road through a small square, people can get access to the Riverside Park crossing Qujing road, the western end of the bridge site is close to the shore, and considered as buffer small square.

策略三:观景赏景,自成一色。步行游人在观景时慢速游览,在近岸部分拱桥低悬至水面以亲水观赏近景。同时人行拱桥面与非机动车桥面交叠处的空间可作为游人逗留时舒适的观景休憩场所。

The third strategy: people can enjoy the scenery on the bridge and become a part of the scenery. People walk slowly while watching the scenery, and some arch parts near the water surface provide a close view. At the same time, the space where the pedestrian arch bridge deck overlaps with the non-motor vehicle bridge deck can be used as a rest area.

2017年6月28日,景观桥顺利开通,这座活力实足、设计新颖的景观桥,一时间,成为了很多市民健身的新路线。从西区紫薇南路东端半岛公园,到江滨中路南端公园,徒步仅9分钟,一路没有喧闹,更没有拥堵。傍晚,霓虹倒影水中,桥身蜿蜒于信安湖之上。运用照明美学辅以桥梁的基本元素点、线、面相结合构成以数码动态光色系统照明的亮化体系,通过多场景变换的灯光色带,给夜间行人营造舒适宜人的光环境,更为夜色下的衢江增添璀璨迷人的水光风景。

On June 28, 2017, the landscape bridge was successfully open. This energetic and novel landscape bridge has suddenly become a new route for many citizens to exercise. It takes only 9 minutes’ walk from the Peninsula Park at the east end of Ziwei South Road to South Park at the end of Jiangbin Middle Road. There is no noise and congestion all the way. In the evening, the neon reflection in the water, and the bridge body winds on Xin’an lake. The lighting aesthetics is combined with the basic elements of the bridge, such as point, line and surface, to form a lighting system with digital dynamic color system. Through the light color band of multi scene transformation, a comfortable and pleasant light environment is created for pedestrians at night, and a bright and charming water light scenery highlights Qujiang River at night.
