Campus, with creative direction from Nineties, have interpreted ancient architectural forms in their design for

Different textures, shapes, and materials have been layered for a highly tactile user experience in eyewear brand’s bricks-and-mortar manifestation, creating a calming space that responds to our collective pandemic-induced anxiety.

Inside, a muted, restrained colour palette of grey and reflective metal surfaces generates a calm environment that feels far removed from the stressful, overwhelming shopping experience we’ve all engaged with in the past.

A series of suspended lights and metal shelving bring a contemporary tone to the very cool interior that has an industrial edge. The shiny, smooth surfaces provided a welcome tension to the homogenous, organic forms that fill the space. Walls shift from a coarse-grained plaster to off-white ribbed panels. These subtle shifts in texture add yet another layer to what is ultimately an irresistibly appealing retail environment.
