和寿司一样，日本的国民饮料正变得越来越受全世界的欢迎，甚至受到美国“地理指标法”的保护。同样的立法规定，香槟只能来自法国的一个地区。
该酒吧本身是由20个六角形单位，允许顺利地移动到不同的安排和完成在日本森(类似于灰烬木材)。在柱子的两侧装饰着几个被照亮的洞，对比了酒吧的沉重特性。
大英博物馆SOHO Co清酒酒吧
“我们追求的是一种多用途、便携的结构，它优雅、便于运输和存储，而且在使用方式上也很灵活，”伦敦日本大厦的凯莉·克拉克(KylieClark)说。“六边形可以被配置成一个酒吧，用来展示各种各样的日本饮料-从茶和清酒，到不太知名的饮料，比如广东话(Awamori)和苏木酒(Shochu)。”
该酒吧的安装是在博物馆更广泛地庆祝日本文化的一部分，以纪念艺术家北井胜之(Katsushika Hokusai，The Great Wave)留下的遗产-从莎米森的表演、电影放映到传统的中国舞蹈家(Chindonya)。
