It is said that food can develop its highest quality if it was placed on somewhere suitable,Omakase,the cuisine master of Zhijiang cuisine,narrates his cooking skills and works,which make the syncretism of sense of tasting and audio-visual reach a climax,there is no doubt that it will be an echo touching our soul.

本项目位于广州最繁华的淘金路街道,是一家类怀石风格的日式料理。怀石料理简单而雅致,同时讲究环境的清幽,茶食“和敬清寂”,尊崇自然,更多强调包容性。为更加的体现出日式料理中食物自身的特色。

The project is located in Taojin Road,the most prosperous street in Guangzhou,It is a cuisine of Japan which style similar to Kaiseki cuisine.Kaiseki cuisine,a minimalism style restaurant,it is simple and elegant and it pays attention to create quiet environment.Tea food show reverence to nature,and places more emphasis on inclusiveness.

旨匠在设计上采取了极简的装修风格,大面积使用灰调背景色营造出幽静氛围,浅色延绵的竹元素装置增加观感的体验度,竹元素一直以来都是日本文化中非常富有代表性的元素之一,也能更好体现主旨。咖色实木桌椅打破沉闷,与顶部设计巧妙的竹装置呼应,在富有层次感的灯光效果中,使人能够更加沉浸于美食与环境的轻松与愉悦之余,目光更集聚于光源的聚焦点日料大师的手作过程,巧手翻覆间佳肴天成。

In order to embody tea food’s own characteristic in Japan cuisine,”Zhijiang” has adopted minimalism style in its decoration design,creating a quiet environment atmosphere with a large area of gray background,the light-colored bamboo element art device increases the experience of vision,Bamboo element is one of the most representative elements in Japanese all the time,it can reflect our main idea better,the brown solid wood table and chair breaks the dullness,it responses to bamboo art device on the top which is designed ingeniously,the light effect is rich in layering feelings,it make people can immerse themselves easier in the ease and pleasure of food and environment,it makes people focus on the lighting area-where master Omakase does his hand-made process,cooking delicacies by skillful hands.

Not only presents the tea food and environment, but it also presents the spiritual culture over it – elegance, harmony, and purity.Sitting with a cup of tea inside, think about ups and downs of the world, we hope that all people around the world are able to find somewhere like this, they can taste tea and watch the clouds folding and unfolding.

日本独特的审美意识,对秩序的感应和对美的敏感让不同于大和全的设计成为本次项目的核心灵魂。这样的一个空间需要给客人感受到传统日式审美吗?,带著这个究极问题,我舍弃了所谓的“第一眼印象”,将这次的项目重点定义为一种日式的能量。我尝试用“物”去传达以及催生人们的感受和思考。此次的装置是整个设计的先行点。选用竹在整个空间中作为叙述者,极富张力的线条著重突出Omakase料理空间的精髓——自由随心。

The unique aesthetic consciousness of Japan,because of its perception of order and sensitivity to beauty, the decoration design can be  differs from other big and complete design schemes,which become the core soul of soul of this project. Does it need to let customers feel a sense of traditional Japanese aesthetics?Thinking about the ultimate question,I abandoned the so-called “first impression”,I defined emphases as a kind of Japanese energy.I try to convey and stimulate people’s feelings and thoughts by the concept of “object”. The art device is the starting point of the whole design.Bam is chosen as a narrator in the whole space,its lines with great tension highlight the quintessence of Omakase’s cooking space-be what you want,be free.

从最初的居住洞穴到箱型居处再到后来日本的伞形房屋,对于空间最终的呈现,我们期望它是暧昧的,富有变化的。

From the original living cave to box dwellings and umbrella shaped house in Japan.About the presentation of space,we expect the space should be ambiguous and changeable.

人在空间中的感受来源于所视所听所触,革新一个已有的空间,离不开艺术的张力。不同于传统的理解,探寻新的“物”的言语挑战了人们对于日式餐饮空间既定的理解和被束缚的想象力。弧形的延伸感、不规则倾斜的失重感、镜面不锈钢天花的能量感,流动的空间在这里或停滞或奔腾。

The experience how people feels when they walking into a space, depends on their vision, hearing and their touch feeling.Innovating a space can’t be finished without the tension of art.Differing from traditional understanding, the way that we exploring new concept “object” has changed their established impression and constrained imagination about dining space of Japan.Benefits from extension from curved shapes, weightlessness brought by the irregular tilt, and the sense of energy generated by the mirror stainless ceiling, the flowing space gallop in some place ,or cease in other place.

进入吧台区域,干净弧形的空间以一种雕塑式的形态呈现,长形的条桌使客人在此感受空间的包裹和延伸感,作为一个较为私密的可聚会空间,它丝毫不抢占一丝客人的注意力。

Walking into the bar area, the clean arc-shaped space presents itself by a form that looks like a sculpture,the long-shaped table makes customers can feel a sense of immersion and extension of the space.As a private area which is available for gathering,it won’t be noticed at all.

料理区,是旨匠最重要的功能空间,亦是此次革新最突出装置的区域。Omakase料理,中文含义为“拜托了”,它需要客人将自己的味蕾完全拜托给师傅。从前菜到甜品,在视觉、味觉以及触觉的层层感知下体会这份极致用心的料理。可以说这是旨匠的舞台,将来客的情绪交于料理大师和这个空间。用竹在整个空间中作为叙述者,极富张力的线条著重突出Omakase料理空间的精髓.

The cuisine area,isn’t only the essential functional area in project “Zhijiang”,but also the area that art device of bamboo is designed conspicuously in the innovation.”Omakase cuisine”,means “please” in Chinese language environment,it requires customers entrust their taste buds to the master completely.From appetizers to desserts,customers can enjoy the extremely attentive cuisine by multiple perceptions including vision,taste and touch feeling.It can be said that this is a stage of “Zhijiang”,the stage brings emotions of customers to cuisine master and whole space.Bamboo,plays a role as a narrator in the whole space,its lines with great tension highlight the quintessence of Omakase cooking area.

The two rooms,which can be connected but independent, embody the secret power in the whole dining space.It stimulate each other’s imagination by partial secrecy. Whether it’s blank-leaving or the umbrageous space created deliberately.we expect every experiencer would wake up all the perception ability to feel the beauty.

并不主动的强调和并不竭力的表达,空间光影所体现出的阴翳与墙面的留白,在幽暗中却生出一种华丽的感觉。在素净的空间里,人们更愿意将视线投放在精致的餐具和食物上。

Do not take the initiative to emphasize and do not try to express,the umbrage area and blank-leaving on the wall reflected by light and shadow generates gorgeous feeling in the dark.In the pure space,people are more willing to pay more attention on delicate food and table-wares.

钟情土、木、竹、纸的人们相信,最朴实的本色之美是不添加任何杂念的纯真。青竹随著岁月的变迁更换了自己的素衣,在成长中将青翠转化为寂寥美丽的金褐色。自然之美、顺势而为。正如我们热爱樱花飘零的虚幻之美一样,带有一丝否定和反抗意味的东西更加美丽,入口橱窗的装置看似繁复纽结,但也许生命中那一丝核心也早都如此呈现。

Those people who love soil,wood,bamboo and paper deeply,strongly believe that the most simple beauty of pure colors is the purity without any miscellaneous thoughts.Time goes by,the green color will change its plain clothes,turning the green into a lonely and beautiful golden brown.The beauty of nature,follow the trend of time. As the illusory beauty of cherry blossoms that we love,something with a trace of negation and resistance are more beautiful. The art device of the entrance window seems to be complicated,but in other word,our core of life has been shown in this way.

旨匠落成后成为当地的网红餐饮。我们试图通过设计的专业性,去传达时间和空间的一些思考,让更多的店铺通过创新存活下来,也许很难,但值得努力!

“Zhijiang” project has became the most popular local  restaurant on the internet after it’s carried out.we are trying to convey some thoughts about time and space by our professionalism of design.so   that more shops can survive by its innovation.This may be pretty hard,but it’s worth making efforts !
